Experience

Successfully defended a government authority in a local arbitration arising out of a contractual claim in a project worth more than PKR 12.75 billion. The contractor had claimed an amount of PKR 1.25 billion as compensation which was not awarded.

Successfully defended a leading telecommunication company in numerous petitions and appeals before the Islamabad High Court pertaining to labour disputes.

Successfully represented a large-scale Chinese oil and gas company in an arbitration arising out of a contractual dispute. The arbitrators found in favor of the company and made an award of over USD 215,000.

Part of a team representing a joint venture comprising of local and foreign companies involved in construction of the Islamabad International Airport, in an arbitration arising out of contractual claims of more than PKR 12 billion.

Successfully defended a foreign company in a suit for damages of approximately USD 269,600 on account of wrongful termination.
